In prayer, meditation and drumming
I’ve had Dream-Time visions of homecoming
Planting roots in earthy loam, resting my bones
Owning a house, A place to call Home

For the wealthy it comes without concern
For me it took my whole life to learn
Scarcity and struggling to make ends meet
The privilege and power that affluence feeds

Feeling the pain of major transition
Ready to make a weighty decision
Mother’s intuition, instinct and vision
Tempered by time, patience and wisdom

Harnessing all of it with incantation
Childbirth pains house new revelations
Building a legacy with concrete foundation
My gift to the next eleven generations.
